Frequently Asked Questions

You might be feeling anxious, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of who you are or where you're headed. Maybe you're overthinking everything, struggling in relationships, trying to break old patterns, or healing from past experiences that still affect you. If any of this resonates, you're not alone and therapy can help.
I specialize in working with individuals in their 20s–30s who are navigating life transitions, trauma, identity shifts, and self-esteem challenges

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in nervous system regulation. I tailor therapy to your needs using a blend of evidence-based methods:
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) helps you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, self-doubt, or overwhelm.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) guides you in exploring different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic or the part that feels stuck—so you can better understand and heal from within.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported method that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories and reduce the emotional charge they carry.
I also integrate mindfulness, somatic tools, and yoga-informed practices to help regulate your nervous system and bring more calm, clarity, and connection into your daily life. Therapy with me moves at your pace and centers your voice, values, and readiness.

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and any concerns or goals you have. I’ll also ask some questions about your history, current stressors, and what support looks like for you right now.
There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at your pace. This is a space for you to be heard without judgment. My goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and understood as we begin your healing process together.

I currently offer private pay sessions and will be accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield soon. If you’d like to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Feel free to reach out with questions! I’m happy to walk you through the options

Teletherapy allows you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own space with no commute, no waiting room. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to protect your privacy. All you need is a quiet, private place, a strong internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer.
Before your first session, I’ll send you a link and simple instructions. At the scheduled time, you’ll just click the link to join

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If notice is given less than 24 hours in advance, a fee will be charged.
I understand that life happens, and I’ll always do my best to be flexible in the case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

Not at the moment! I am currently only offering tele-health therapy to clients located in Alabama.

I currently work with individuals only and do not offer couples or family counseling at this time. My focus is on helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity work. If you're looking for couples or family therapy, I’m happy to refer you to trusted providers.

HIPAA stands for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. It’s a federal law that protects your private health information. This means that anything you share in therapy—your records, session content, and personal information—is kept confidential and secure. I use HIPAA-compliant platforms for all telehealth sessions and documentation to ensure your privacy is protected.
